OCSC: Why do you sail?
JC: Sailing takes my mind off from everything that is going ashore. It keeps me grounded and a great way to get to know your friends.
OCSC: What do you enjoy about working at OCSC?
JC: I feel like being a part of a big family. We all care for each other. And enjoy each other's company in and out of the office. The members and clients are exceptional. The relationship extends beyond customer care to reaching out to friends.
OCSC: What's your sailing background?
JC: I'd never stepped foot on a sail boat before working at OCSC I took the lessons here and now spend a lot of time out on the water. I've managed to participate in a few J/24 races. Beside being part of our flotilla, my experience has been mainly on San Francisco Bay.
OCSC: When you're not sailing, what can we find you doing?
JC: I try to stay active. I like to go on hikes and on camping trips. In the winter I spend lots of weekends at Tahoe snowboarding. A couple times a year I go outside of California to explore a different part of the world.
