Onboard since 2002
OCSC: What sailing experience did you have before you came to OCSC?
PG: I was a windsurfer!
OCSC: What do you like about sailing?
PG: The whole community of sailing -- all the people I meet are fun and laidback. And, being out in the Bay on a nice sunny day, wow -- that's living in the moment!
OCSC: What brought you to OCSC?
PG: I wanted to get into a bigger boat so I did some research and found OCSC -- the location was right for me. I went into the office and said I was interested in learning more.
OCSC: Why did you decide to become a member?
PG: Friendly, easy going people (who sounded like they knew their stuff!) in a warm and inviting environment.
OCSC: What sailing goals do you have?
PG: I'd like to do a flotilla trip this year. I'm also aiming for one level of US Sailing certification every two years. OCSC certainly makes this easy for me. My goal in certifications is Offshore Passagemaking.
OCSC: What do you do when you're not sailing?
PG: Snowboarding! Sailing ties in nicely with the slopes...
