The greatest pleasure in sailing comes from the ability to participate. Fundamental skills are all you need to move from being a passenger to being welcomed aboard as a competent member of the crew. With the techniques you learn in this course you will instantly be helpful to any skipper -- whether day sailing on San Francisco Bay or bareboat chartering in a tropical paradise. It is more fun to be confident on the water!

    Saturday and Sunday 9am–4 pm


  • Use of Spray Gear & Flotation Device

    OCSC is the only school in the Bay Area providing you with waterproof gear to make sure you stay dry and comfortable while learning without having to add a few hundred dollars in gear to the expense of learning to sail. In any course you take here, we loan you waterproof pants and jacket along with a comfortable, Coast Guard approved personal flotation device.
